Asaturian, Eaton and Associates was founded in 1982 in Carbondale and is a multi-disciplined Consulting Engineering firm experienced in and offering services in Municipal, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering. The firm is also prequalified by the State of Illinois Capital Development Board to offer services in all of the above engineering fields. The firm offers engineering for educational, municipal, governmental, industrial, commercial housing, private developers and healthcare clients throughout southern Illinois.
As a well established southern Illinois engineering firm, with personnel who are long-time residents of the area, Asaturian, Eaton and Associates, Inc. has established an excellent working relationship with local governments, Illinois State Board of Education, Illinois Capital Development Board, Southern Illinois University, Illinois Department of Transportation, area utility companies, Illinois Department of Public Health, State Fire Marshal's office, the Environmental Protection Agency, and has an in-depth working knowledge of their procedures and requirements. Praveen is President and Civil Engineering Director of Asaturian, Eaton and Associates Inc. with prime responsibility for directing all the Civil Engineering projects. Praveen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from SIUC and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois. Praveen has a vast experience and is very knowledgeable in site planning, drainage and storm flow computations, storm water detention options, erosion and sediment control, preparation of plans and specifications and cost estimates for site development projects and municipal public works projects, water distribution systems, roadways, parking facilities, recreation facilities, utility systems, IEPA, IDNR, and Army Corp of Engineer permits. Mr. Sunny has had a broad range of civil engineering design experience with projects including recreation facilities, student and multi-family housing projects, health care facilities, educational institutions, roadways, parking lots, hotels, water and sewer utilities and office complexes. Armen Asaturian, P.E.

Armen received his B.S. in electrical engineering from University of Illinois in Champaign and his M.S. in Thermal and Environmental Engineering from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He is a registered professional engineer in Illinois, Missouri and Kentucky. He has overall administrative responsibility for engineering projects. Armen also has direct managerial responsibility for the development and planning of municipal, environmental, electrical and mechanical projects. He has 50 years of diverse engineering experience with a large variety of projects including municipal water and waste water systems; utility and infrastructure planning; parks and recreation and sports facilities. He has substantial experience in the engineering of mechanical, HVAC and electrical systems for hospitals and healthcare facilities; nursing homes, congregate living facilities; churches; office complexes; commercial, retail and industrial facilities; public and private housing facilities. Rick Asaturian, C.P.D,

Rick received his Associate Degree in Architectural Technology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He is a certified plumbing designer, a certified Illinois Capital Development Board (CDB) project manager and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional. As director of building systems engineering with 37 years of experience, he is the our liaison and chief contact person between our firm and our architecture and contractor clients on matters pertaining to building electrical, plumbing and HVAC system, Rick is also the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance specialist for the firm for electrical/mechanical systems as well as accessibility issues. He is directly responsible for the design of complete plumbing systems, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, electrical lighting and distribution for commercial, educational, housing, healthcare and office building projects. He also develops energy efficient HVAC concepts and helps coordinate the building electrical, plumbing and HVAC system with the architectural and structural elements of buildings.
